The SPCC Mentoring Program  provides new officials with a seasoned mentor who is committed to growing the avocation by supporting mentees in their first years in the sport.

Mentor Recruitment!

The ideal mentor is someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 3 years experience as a member of SPCC and working a regular varsity schedule.
  • Is committed to fulfilling the expectations for mentors (see PDF download at the bottom of this page.
  • Demonstrates a patient, coaching disposition to work with new officials and support their development.

Contact Tyler Livingston at info@spccoa.org to volunteer.

Are You a New Official?

If you are an official with less than 3 years experience (or new to officiating basketball or football), please contact info@spccoa.org to request mentoring support.

Note: If you are an experienced official but new to SP/CC officials, please contact info@spccoa.org directly to discuss any optional mentoring needs you may have.
